Rules for Jake’s Lakes

• The fishery will open daily at 8am, 7 days a week.
• The car park will be locked at 9pm and opened again around 7-8am.
• In the case of an absolute emergency call the bailiff on 07399397428.

Day Tickets

Can be booked via Swimbooker online or ring/Whatsapp the lake phone number to check availability.
Prices: Specimen lake ticket £25 per 23hrs (£20 for cons/veterans)
Match/junior pond £10 per day (£8 for cons/veterans)
Jake’s Lakes Taxi Service £5 per load/per person/per peg
• ALL day tickets are not transferable. ALL tickets are non-refundable.
• ALL day tickets for the match/junior pond expire at 7.30pm or one hour before sunset (whichever is earlier.)
• ALL day tickets for the specimen lake expire at 8am. If you decide you want to extend your day ticket, please ring the lake phone to check availability.
• All swims must be clear by 8.30am. Strictly, no new day ticket anglers allowed onto the lake until 9am.
• All specimen lake pegs are disabled friendly on the platforms (which are 4.8m x 4.8m.)
• Lake Exclusives are available to book via Swimbooker or the lake phone.

• Fishing must take place from the peg platform. NO fishing between swims. Maximum 2 rods per swim on the specimen lake. NO rods to be left unattended – no more than one swim away at any time. All nets, unhooking mats and slings must be dipped. Unhooking mats must be well padded and always used. Fish must be always held over the unhooking mat from maximum knee height. Please DO NOT put fish on the ground at all. They must be on their side, on unhooking mats only.
• Bait boats are allowed in your swim only.
• Freezer baits, hemp, maize and corn are all allowed. NO shelf-life boilies or plastic baits; NO floating baits, meats or nuts.

• Tubing must be 18 inches minimum. Mono/flouro line must be 0.40mm/18lb minimum Regular rig checks will be conducted. NO fixed leads. NO barbed hooks, micro barbed hooks ONLY. NO surface fishing, NO lure fishing.
• Fish care ointments/kit are to be always carried.
• Keep nets are allowed on the match/junior pond. Fish must be let out of keep nets at the end of the match/day.
• Juniors (under 16s) must always be accompanied by an adult.
• ALL fish caught on the specimen lake must be weighed and photographed. Photographs and weights must be sent to Jake’s Lakes phone number. All fish caught are to be released as soon as possible (20 minutes MAX) unless an agreement is reached with the bailiff.

• Pegs to be kept clean and tidy. NO littering.
• Photography and videography around Jake’s Lakes fishery are a regular occurrence and any visitors must accept that photography and videography may be used for a variety of purposes, including marketing purposes online.
• NO drugs and only moderate alcohol consumption.
• Toilets must be kept clean and tidy.
• BBQs are allowed however they must be kept away from the woodlands; they MUST NOT burn the grass or smoke out other people’s swim.
• NO guns, swimming, campfires, or generators.
• Noise must be kept to a minimum. NO loud music.
• Dogs are allowed – they must behave and be quiet (no barking) and no swimming.

• If you get a fish tethered or snagged please don't pull it and snap it. Call the bailiff and we will help you at any time.
Anyone found killing or removing fish WILL BE PROSECUTED.
• Respect to other anglers is paramount. The bailiff reserves the right to ask you to leave at anytime if you are in breach of these rules, upsetting other anglers or under the influence alcohol or drugs.
• All users access the site and lakes entirely at their own risk. The owners and management team will not accept responsibility for any losses, damage, injuries etc howsoever caused, that occur.
